Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial mechanics and maintenance, with expertise in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, and electrical systems. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service while ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and systems.

Duties

• Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities within the manufacturing facility to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance tasks and inventory management.
• Conduct regular inspections using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters to assess equipment functionality.
• Perform welding tasks, including stick welding, as needed for repairs or modifications.
• Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
• Provide technical sales support by assisting customers with product selection and troubleshooting.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices in industrial maintenance and safety protocols.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations, including high voltage and low voltage electrical work.
• Collaborate with field service teams to address customer needs promptly.

Qualifications

• High skill levels are a must and will pay accordingly for a top-tier technician, per qualifications and skills.
• Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or technician within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
• Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems is essential.
• Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and effectively.
• Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills in English; customer service experience is a plus.
• Military experience is valued but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
