Responsibilities As an Automotive Sales Consultant at King VW, you will: * Engage Customers: Greet customers in the showroom and spend time to understand their needs and wants. Build rapport and guide them in selecting the perfect vehicle from our new or pre-owned inventory. * Vehicle Demonstrations: Showcase vehicle features and benefits by conducting test drives and walk-arounds. Explain the latest technology and safety features that make our vehicles industry leaders. * Product Expert: Commit to becoming a product knowledge expert on all Volkswagen models (and our pre-owned makes). Continuously learn and master vehicle information , pricing, and financing options to confidently answer customer questions. * Follow-Up & Relationship Building: Follow up with prospective customers (internet leads, phone inquiries, walk-ins) promptly and courteously. Maintain relationships with past customers to ensure repeat business and long-term customer satisfaction. * Achieve Sales Goals: Work with the sales team and management to meet and exceed sales targets and dealership performance goals. Assist customers through the buying process, ensuring a smooth transaction and an exceptional experience from start to finish. * Professional Standards: Uphold high standards of integrity and accountability. Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately. Maintain a neat and organized work area and lot display that reflects our professional image. Qualifications & Requirements We are seeking high-energy individuals who can innately exhibit the qualities that make our team great. Key qualifications include: * Positive Attitude & Motivation: A strong desire to succeed, with a hard-working, self-motivated approach. Willingness to absorb training and continuously improve your sales skills. * Excellent Communication Skills: Enjoy interacting with people in person, over the phone, and online. Able to listen to customer needs , communicate vehicle features compellingly, and build trust. * Customer Service Mindset: Prior customer service or sales experience is a big plus - whether you've worked in retail, hospitality, or any role dealing with customers. You understand the value of delivering great service. (No previous auto sales experience required - we will train the right candidate!) * Professional Appearance: Business-casual or professional dress and a well-groomed appearance. You represent the King VW brand, and first impressions matter. * Driver 's License: Valid driver 's license with a clean driving record (required for test drives). * Tech-Savvy: Basic computer skills to manage internet leads and CRM follow-up. Comfortable using email and dealership software to follow up with prospects and input customer information. * Trainable & Coachable: Ability to complete initial manufacturer product training and ongoing certification requirements. Open to feedback and eager to learn our dealership's sales process and best practices. * Full-Time Availability: This is a full-time position. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays and Saturdays (our busiest days) to accommodate customers. Reliability and punctuality are essential.
