Full description of the position

As a Business Developer, your mission is to find and close new business with a hunter mentality and approach. Your success will be dependent upon your ability to prospect for business through incoming leads, referrals, cold- calling, conferences and social media.

• Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets
• Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
• Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
• Consult with prospect about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each.
• Maintain a high level of relevant market knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
• Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers
• Draft and deliver proposals
• Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis
• Report on daily sales activity
• Enter detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions into CRM system
• Provide a forecast pipeline on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods
• Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace
• Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity

Minimum Qualifications

:

• University/College graduate preferred
• Ability to operate PC & iPad applications including: Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word), CRM, Flow Charting, work-loading, simulation and communication tools
• End user market experience with education, healthcare, facilities management, hospitality and government is an asset.
• Extremely organized
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills
• Competent, self-motivated learners
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Knowledge of forecasting
• Reliable Transportation

Compensation

commensurate with experience and skill set.

Compensation

will include base wage salary plus commission. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Experience:

• Outside sales: 4 years (Preferred)
• Account management: 4 years (Preferred)
• B2B sales: 4 years (Preferred) Work Location: On the road
