Full description of the position

Swim and Tri now has an openings for a part-time Sales Associate. We are looking for someone who are passionate about fitness and swimming, enjoys working with people, and is wanting a flexible schedule. Individuals should be available to work one to two afternoons/evenings a week, between 2pm-7pm and some weekends to assist with in-store events and meets on weekends. Hours can vary between 5 and 25 hours per week. Our employees receive an employee discount, compensation, and semi-annual bonuses, and other incentives. Job Duties: * Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and maintain awareness of new products and services * Willing to learn how to operate a point-of-sale * Helping to create advertising campaigns for attracting new customers and teams and retaining current customers * Monitor and maintain inventory levels * Coordinating and fostering relationships with current and prospective area teams * Staff in-store events, meets, and off-site events * Direct and oversee the recruitment, selection, training, and development of staff * Working knowledge of relevant computer applications * Willing to learn Swim and Tri's internal software systems * Willing to travel (seasonally) within a two hour radius Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule Application Question(s): * Are you over the age of 18?
