We are seeking a licensed Pest Control & Termite Maintenance Specialist to join our team. We are a family owned and operated pest management company, thriving since 2009. We are a company with a focus on exceptional customer service, known for our dedicated sales and service professionals. Termite Maintenance Specialist: Base compensation $23 -$26 per hour, with an additional 10% commission on each qualifying sale (minus subcontractor fees). JOB SUMMARY * The primary role of this position will be to perform maintenance inspections for our customers enrolled in our maintenance program. This position will also handle termite reservice appointments, perform termite treatments, and may assist in new sales inspections if needed after completing a training period. * Follow a pre-set schedule. * Perform thorough inspections of customer's homes and/or businesses. Inspecting all accessible crawl spaces, interior spaces, and exterior structural spaces. * Educate customers on inspection findings and recommendations. * Perform warranty treatments based on inspection findings. * Upsell customers on other lines of business. * Run sales appointments that have been scheduled through the office. * Prepare proposals and presentations based on inspection to obtain sales. * Educate customers on the cost of services needed based on inspection. * Reach company sales goals. * Continually refine sales skills and product knowledge. * Study reports and diagrams of infested areas and follow treatment plan as recommended. * Mix, spray, inject and apply appropriate chemical solutions to control and eliminate wood destroying organisms. * Cut or bore openings in building or surrounding concrete, access infested areas, insert nozzle, and inject pesticide. * Trench and treat soil at perimeter of building and sub area. * Maintain accurate records and develop and submit daily reports on pesticide use to office to be sent to regulatory agencies. * Drive truck equipped with power spraying/wood working equipment. Clean work site after completion of job. * Keep work vehicle clean and maintained at all times. * Provide excellent customer service. QUALIFICATIONS * Valid driver's license with good driving history. * High character, be willing to do the right thing. * Excellent customer service and strong communication skills. * Must care about customers! * Safely perform skilled work in the preparation and application of chemical solutions to control wood destroying organisms. Safely perform skilled work in the repair or replacement of infected or damaged wood members. * Work independently in the absence of immediate supervision and good attendance. * Communicate effectively, orally and in writing. * Maintain accurate records; and prepare reports in a timely and accurate manner. * Safely and skillfully operate tools and equipment related to work assignments. * Read and comprehend rules, laws and regulations and specialized materials such as technical manuals, written instructions, and mixing formulas. * Understand and follow work safety procedures and best practices. * Establish and maintain effective work relationships with the customers, co-workers, and those contacted during the course of work. * Practice safe driving and having the privilege to take your work vehicle home daily. REQUIREMENTS * Possess a Branch 3 license (Branch 2 and 3 license preferred). * Successfully complete background check and drug test. * Valid driver's license and good driving history. * Must be willing to routinely lift, push and pull equipment, ascend and descend from ladders, and occasionally work from heights. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and to stand for long periods of time. * Safely climb ladders; to lift, push, pull and to carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. * Be able to use finger and foot dexterity and hand strength to operate and grasp tools and equipment. * Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator. * Willing to work in different types of weather conditions.
