Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Precision Hydraulic Cylinders (PHC) headquarters in Wilmington, North Carolina. As part of PHC, this vital role is responsible for delivery of excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of orders, communication, and coordinating with other departments to resolve inquiries. What you 'll do * Interact with customers by phone / email to provide information about products * Interact with team members daily regarding customer questions/issues * Enter customer orders obtained through email, customer portal or EDI * Serve as first point of contact for pricing, product, and scheduling inquiries * Build and maintain long-term business relationships with clients * Provide prompt and accurate service Minimum qualifications * Effective communication skills both verbal and written * Proficiency with Microsoft Office products especially Outlook and Excel * Manage multiple priorities * Excellent phone skills * Accurate typing and spelling skills * Ability to work with inventory control and order entry software Education and Experience Required * High school diploma or equivalent * 1-3 years Customer Service experience (Inside Sales) Desired Associates or Bachelor's Degree Who we are and what we offer Our comprehensive benefits package includes: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, stock plans, employee discounts, and more.
