Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to drive new business acquisition within the construction industry across Colorado. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of proven sales experience and exceptional ability to work independently. This role is focused on the entire sales lifecycle: lead generation, relationship building, needs assessment, and closing deals to turn prospects into loyal, long-term customers. Experience with construction equipment or construction materials sales is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business DevelopmentLead Generation
  • Prospecting: Actively identify and pursue new client opportunities within the construction sector, utilizing effective strategies such as cold calling, networking (industry events, trade shows), and strategic referrals.
  • Target Market: Meet and obtain new construction industry clients, including general contractors, subcontractors, developers, and construction management firms.
  • Territory Management: Efficiently manage time and resources to maximize penetration within the assigned Colorado territory.
  • Sales Cycle ManagementClosing
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough client needs analysis to understand their current challenges, project requirements, and specific product/service gaps.
  • Presentations: Deliver persuasive and professional presentations and product demonstrations that clearly articulate the value proposition and benefits of our offerings.
  • NegotiationClosing: Negotiate contract terms and pricing, skillfully addressing client concerns to close sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • CRM Management: Utilize and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system daily to track all sales activities, pipeline status, client data, and forecasts accurately.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and recruiting teams to ensure smooth service delivery and align sales strategies with company goals.
  • Account Maintenance: Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with new clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business and upselling.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-5 years of professional sales experience, with a documented track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge (A Plus) but not required
  • Independence: Proven ability to work independently, manage a territory effectively, and prioritize tasks without constant supervision.
  • DrivingLocation: Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. This position is located in Colorado and requires extensive travel throughout the region.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
