Job Title: Field Service Technician - Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Specialist Are you a delivery driver tired of countless daily van exits and apartment stair climbs? If so, we have the ideal job for you! Position Overview: As a Field Service Technician specializing in Durable Medical Equipment (DME), you will play a crucial role in our team. Your responsibilities will encompass daily operations such as equipment delivery, pickups, troubleshooting, and ensuring the impeccable care and maintenance of warehouse facilities and assets. This position also involves prompt reporting of equipment movements, fixed asset data, vehicle activities, and incoming purchase orders. Key Responsibilities: * Work daytime hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional after-hours or weekend assignments. * Travel within your designated territory as needed. * Enjoy the convenience of commuting in a company-provided van. * Execute the safe delivery, pickup, and servicing of specialized medical and respiratory equipment to skilled nursing facilities in the surrounding area, utilizing company-provided resources, including a cell phone and vehicle. * Maintain a clean, well-organized warehouse. * Adhere to company policies and procedures related to the Field Service Technician role. * Act as an ambassador for the company, promoting our image, products, and services when appropriate. Qualifications: * Must be 21 years or older. * Possess at least 3 months of experience driving a 10' cargo van or similar vehicle. * Maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) free of major violations. * No more than 2 minor violations on your MVR. * Clinical experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory. * Proficiency in basic office applications, including MS Office. * Familiarity with mobile software. * Ability to work independently and efficiently without constant supervision. * Exhibit a flexible schedule, accommodating on-call hours, overtime, and emergency assignments. * Present a professional appearance. * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. * Highly organized and punctual. * Demonstrate a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. * Must be capable of occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds.
