Full description of the position

NW Industrial is currently seeking a Sales Associate/Estimator for a large floor covering company located in Eugene. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in building materials sales or someone looking to work in an office environment with previous flooring experience or carpentry experience. This is a direct hire opportunity with a family-owned company. What we are seeking:

• 2+ years of sales or customer service experience.
• Great math and measurement experience to calculate the square footage of customer needs.
• Understanding of a full sales cycle from contact to closure of a sale.
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team with designers, warehouse personnel, delivery drivers, and vendors.
• Capacity to gain product knowledge and applications for the various types of flooring and their uses.
• Comfortable using computers to track progress on quotes and estimation software.
• Good interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capable of walking, standing, stooping, bending, and carrying up to 40 lbs.
• Great attention to detail and work ethic.
• Must have a driver 's license and a driving record to meet with customers and do estimations out of the office. Job Details:
• Location: Eugene, OR
• Shift: Days
• Schedule: Monday - Friday (occasional Saturday)
• Hours: 8AM to 5PM
• Pay: $48K to $54K (DOE)
