Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and ensuring an inviting shopping environment. Bilingual abilities and previous retail or grocery store experience are highly valued. The Sales Associate will play a key role in driving sales through effective upselling and merchandising strategies while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and customer server * Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits * Upsell products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities * Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly * Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment * Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times * Follow phone etiquette standards when communicating with customers over the phone * Support supervising staff in training new team members when needed Requirements * Prior experience in retail sales, grocery store, or similar environment preferred * Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities a plus * Proficiency with quickbook systems and basic math skills for retail math calculations * Experience with order receiver and control to shipping * Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product demos techniques * Ability to upsell effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor * Supervising experience is a plus but not required * Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail * Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour Work Location: In person
