Job Overview We are looking for a motivated, personable, and sales-oriented Optometric Sales Associate to join our optical team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-facing environment and is passionate about delivering a premium, patient-centered experience while driving sales performance. As an Optometric Sales Associate, you will guide patients through the selection and purchase of prescription eyewear, sunglasses, and contact lenses --including specialty lenses such as hybrid and scleral contacts--as well as recommended medical treatments, services, and over-the-counter products. You will play a key role in achieving a high capture rate by converting prescriptions into in-house sales through education, trust-building, and personalized recommendations. Duties * Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high patient satisfaction * Assist patients with eyewear and contact lens selection and purchases * Recommend premium lenses, luxury frames, and customized eyewear solutions * Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals * Maintain showroom cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards * Process POS transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately * Actively engage customers to build relationships and drive repeat business * Cross-sell products and promote new arrivals and special offers * Support inventory control and frame board organization * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations * Assist with front desk tasks, including scheduling and patient check-in/check-out * Share ideas to improve sales performance and patient experience Requirements * Proven experience in retail or optical sales * Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals * Knowledge of eyewear products, contact lenses, and vision/medical insurance plans * POS and inventory management experience * Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Bilingual English/Spanish preferred * High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree a plus Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Bereavement leave * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off * Professional development assistance * Retirement plan * Vision insurance Experience: * Optical: 1 year (Required) Language: * Spanish (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * Lake Worth, FL 33467 (Required) Work Location: In person
