Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.a * Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue by cold calling if necessary * Ensure follow-up by passing leads to Account Managers with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources * Actively manage call schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner * Use marketing data using applicable sales management tools to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness * Maintain accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation * Cover assigned accounts promoting products and services * Establish customer profit margins * Provide value-added services such as: Documented costs savings, plant surveys, technical support, and product training * Must build and maintain our customer base by focusing on assessing customer needs, building relationships, and meeting our goals as a customer-driven company * Must develop new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase the organization's sales * Resolves customer issues, researches, and makes recommendations for potential product enhancements or modifications to increase sales * Schedules and performs cold and sales calls to existing customers in assigned territory * Assists in the preparation of sales forecasts, quotes and/or negotiations * Sales call planning Carry out other sales functions as assigned by Manager * _Metals USA offers competitive wages and benefits plus upward mobility towards professional growth. Metals USA* _provides_* equal employment opportunities to applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability. * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration , Marketing, Construction Management, or related field * Five (5) or more years of industrial aluminum and stainless steel sales, fabrication, and/or industrial sales * Experience in calculating proportions, circumference and volume required ; prior experience with blue-print and cad drawings preferred * Experience in selling in the industrial market, B2B selling, fabrication experience a plus * Must have a professional demeanor and an ability to communicate effectively with executive level individuals from various industries * Ability to learn new skills and technology as it pertains to business and fabrication needs * Basic mathematics and computer skills (Microsoft Office Products) * A solid understanding of the aluminum and stainless steel industries * A full understanding of sales, customer relations, aluminum, and stainless steel processing * A valid driver's license
