Description United Ag & Turf is a John Deere Dealership with multiple locations across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas New Mexico. United Ag & Turf serves customers in a variety of industries such as commercial, construction, agricultural, as well as, consumers. United Ag & Turf strives for exceptional customer experience throughout all our locations and departments including parts, sales, service, and transportation. Purpose: Sells new and used agricultural, compact construction, and turf equipment to new and existing customers. * Responsibilities The following are essential functions of this position: * Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area * Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership * Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly * Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management * Knows and follows a defined sales process * Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events * Conducts new equipment field demonstrations * Monitors trends in customer's business activities and timely communicates to management * Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods * Attends applicable sales training events/seminars * May maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes * Benefits include: * Salary plus Commission * Bonus Opportunities * 401K Match * Health Benefits * Vehicle Allowance Under the American with Disabilities Act, an employee must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation, as well as possess the skills, experience, education and other job-related requirements necessary for the position. Requirements Required Education and Experience * High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience. * Excellent communication skills. Preferred Education, Experience and Requirements * One- year prior equipment sales experience. * Knowledge of commercial equipment. * Ability to use standard desktop load functions such as Microsoft Office and internet functions * Ability to work flexible hours * Excellent customer relationship skills * Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports Physical Demands This position requires various physical demands that are necessary to perform the essential functions of the position, including: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands; reach with hand and arms; and talk or hear. The employee will frequently be required to sit, walk, climb, balance, and tolerate extreme outdoor conditions. Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
