About us Blazed Bakery is a small business bakery in Northbrook, IL. We are fun, engaging and our goal is treating every customer likes it's their first time in the bakery. Our work environment includes: * Company perks * Growth opportunities * Relaxed atmosphere Promotes coffee/lemonades consumption by educating customers; selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks and lemonades, along with pastries and cookies. * Must be 21 years of age * Welcomes customers by determining their drink interests and needs. * Educates customers by presenting and explaining the drink menu; answering questions. * Prepares and sells drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for lemonades/coffee drinks, such as, espresso, latte, and cappuccino. * Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products. * Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar. * Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. * Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations. * Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar * Job pay is based an hourly rate plus tips Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 29 - 35 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid sick time * Paid time off * Paid training * Vision insurance Shift availability: * Day Shift (Preferred) * Night Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
