Job Title: Sales, Events Social Media Manager Location: SeaHawk Prime by David Burke Reports To: General Manager - Director of Operations / Corporate Director of Marketing Events Job Type : Full-Time Job Overview The Sales, Events Social Media Manager is responsible for managing private dining, group sales, event planning, and digital brand presence. This role combines hospitality event management and social media oversight to ensure seamless execution of guest events while reinforcing brand image through strategic content and community engagement. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and digitally savvy, with a proven track record in high-volume restaurant or hospitality environments. Key Duties and Responsibilities Event Sales Management * Serve as the point of contact for all private dining and event inquiries, responding within 24 hours of receipt of inquiry * Plan, organize, and manage the execution of events from inquiry to post-event follow-up * Handle all event-related logistics using the Tripleseat platform, including proposals, contracts, BEOs, deposits, client communications, and post-event feedback * Conduct daily walkthroughs of event spaces to ensure they remain show-ready and guest-ready at all times * Lead weekly BEO meetings with management and culinary teams to align operations and expectations * Oversee all aspects of event day execution, including room setup, vendor coordination, service flow, and breakdown * Manage relationships with vendors, third-party partners, and staffing agencies as needed * Ensure all event and service staff are trained and operating in accordance with company standards and event-specific guidelines * Collaborate with the GM and FOH management on event staffing and logistics to maintain quality standards * Greet and engage all hosts during events to ensure satisfaction and maintain relationships Sales Reporting Forecasting * Maintain and distribute weekly sales forecasts and weekly variance reports * Track and report event inquiries, bookings, and deposits; send weekly and daily logs to ownership and corporate teams * Work closely with accounting to ensure event financials, deposits, and tracking sheets are accurate and up-to-date * Develop and maintain comp set intelligence, participate in community outreach, and maintain a robust local network for business development * Represent the restaurant in local event planning associations and community committees Social Media Marketing * Develop and manage a consistent social media content calendar across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) * Collaborate with the culinary and FOH teams to capture content that reflects the brands fine dining experience and hospitality ethos * Create and publish event promotions, updates, and seasonal content to enhance guest engagement and drive bookings * Monitor and respond to social media inquiries, comments, and reviews in a timely and professional manner * Partner with corporate marketing on brand-aligned design, event flyers, and promotional campaigns * Assist with on-site photoshoots, influencer hosting, and user-generated content strategy * Analyze performance of posts and campaigns, adjusting strategies to improve reach, engagement, and conversion Discretion and Independent Judgment: This position requires consistent use of discretion and independent judgment. The Sales, Events Social Media Manager is expected to: * Make autonomous decisions regarding event logistics, client communications, and vendor coordination * Negotiate terms within company guidelines and resolve guest concerns in real time * Develop and implement marketing and social media strategies that align with brand standards and business goals * Analyze and act on sales trends, guest feedback, and operational insights to enhance revenue and guest satisfaction * Represent the business professionally in external partnerships, community events, and marketing efforts The role operates with a high degree of independence and requires sound judgment in both strategic and day-to-day decisions that impact the guest experience and company reputation.
