Director of Sales - Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences Location: Singer Island, FL Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences, an ultra-luxury wellness destination located on the pristine shores of Singer Island, is seeking an accomplished Director of Sales to lead our dynamic and high-performing sales organization. As the Director of Sales , you will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving all group, corporate, leisure, and catering sales efforts. You will develop and execute strategic market plans, nurture client relationships, and inspire a culture of excellence and accountability within your team. This role requires a hands-on sales leader --someone who not only directs strategy but also actively engages in selling, prospecting, and building client partnerships. The ideal candidate leads by example, personally drives key revenue opportunities, and models the proactive sales behavior expected across the department. Key Responsibilities: * Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental revenue objectives. * Develop and implement innovative sales strategies that maximize occupancy, group bookings, and overall profitability. * Actively participate in the selling process, including prospecting, conducting client presentations, negotiating contracts, and closing key business. * Identify and cultivate relationships with top corporate, group, and incentive clients, as well as third-party partners and travel professionals. * Collaborate closely with marketing, revenue management, and operations to align strategies and deliver a seamless guest experience. * Analyze market trends, competitive data, and business performance to inform pricing, positioning, and sales initiatives. * Represent Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities. Qualifications: * 6+ years of progressive hotel sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role. * Proven track record of driving revenue and market share in a luxury or lifestyle resort environment. * Demonstrated success as a hands-on seller with strong prospecting and closing skills. * Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities, with a passion for motivating and developing high-performing teams. * Strong organizational, analytical, and strategic thinking skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and hotel sales software (such as Delphi or Opera Sales). * A deep appreciation for hospitality, wellness, and delivering transformative guest experiences.
