Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and personable Sales Associate to join our construction sales team, specializing in siding, windows, roofing, and decking solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding homeowners through product options, educating them on materials and benefits, and helping convert inquiries into signed projects. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys consultative sales, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced construction environment. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve our diverse client base. Duties * Greet and engage prospective customers via phone, email, showroom visits, or job-site meetings * Assist homeowners in selecting siding, window, roofing, and decking products based on their needs, budget, and design preferences * Explain product features, material differences, warranties, and installation processes clearly and confidently * Conduct product presentations or demos using samples, photos, and project examples * Upsell complementary products and services while promoting current offers or upgrades * Support the sales process by collecting project details, scheduling site visits, and coordinating with estimating and production teams * Maintain organized sales materials, samples, and displays in the showroom or office * Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and follow-ups throughout the sales process * Handle inbound and outbound calls with professional phone etiquette * Assist sales managers or supervisors with daily operations, lead tracking, and customer follow-up as needed Requirements * Previous sales experience preferred, ideally in construction, home improvement, or building materials (siding, windows, roofing, decking) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with homeowners * Ability to understand and explain construction products, materials, and basic installation concepts * Experience with consultative sales, upselling, and closing techniques * Comfortable using CRM systems, estimating tools, or basic sales software (training provided if needed) * Bilingual skills are a plus for serving a diverse customer base * Professional phone etiquette and strong follow-up skills * Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and detail-oriented This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the construction industry while helping homeowners improve and protect their properties.
