Hardy Fence is looking for an experienced, motivated, and construction-minded sales person with a strong work ethic to join our sales team. This individual will operate in the residential, commercial, and multi-family areas for our company. Sales candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to quickly adapt to our company sales process, be well organized, and be a strong business thinker driven for success. All leads to be provided by the company (no door to door/cold calling). Responsibilities * Schedule Appointments with provided leads to determine customer's fence needs. * Estimating / Sale of fences using proven sales model by conducting site evaluations and subsequent design work based on customer needs. * Communicating all facets of our products / services to our prospective customers. * Relationship building with prospective customers. * Closing deals/ signing contracts. * Ability to manage provided leads responsibly, efficiently and thoroughly is a must. * Logging all communications with customers in contact database. * Existing fence sales/construction experience preferred. Compensation * Base Salary plus Commission (paid weekly each Friday) Desired Skills & Experience Qualifications * 2+years experience in fence sales/construction preferred. * Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus. * Strong work ethic, self motivated and goal-oriented. * Demonstrated / proven sales history in outside sales. * Ability to create a project specific sales proposal and drawing based on site conditions. * Good working knowledge of construction processes and planning. * Excellent writing and communication skills. * Great attention to detail and strong analytical skills. * Strong organizational and time management skills are a must. * Candidate must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule based upon task completion. * All candidates must have a valid TX drivers license. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office required and familiarity CRM software a plus. Experience * Fence Industry, Construction, and/or Sales experience required.
