About Us Gold Mountain California News Media Inc. is a trusted community news organization serving Placer County and surrounding regions through award- winning newspapers and magazines. We take pride in producing high-quality publications for our readers and advertisers along with our outside print customers. About the Opportunity The Folsom Telegraph , proudly serving the Folsom community for 170 years , is seeking a motivated Advertising Sales Representative to join our local team. This position offers flexibility for an inside salesperson , an outside salesperson , or a hybrid approach. The primary objective is to build strong relationships with local businesses and help them grow through effective advertising solutions across our trusted print and digital platforms. What You 'll Be Selling * Print advertising in the Folsom Telegraph * Digital advertising on our website * Weekly Folsom Telegraph eNewsletter * Special publications and themed sections * Advertising in our other weekly community newspapers * Digital marketing products and custom advertising solutions Key Responsibilities * Develop and grow relationships with local Folsom-area businesses * Prospect new advertisers and manage an existing client base * Consult with businesses to create effective advertising strategies * Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals * Coordinate with internal design, editorial, and production teams * Represent a respected, community-focused media brand Ideal Candidate * Sales experience preferred (advertising or media sales a plus, but not required) * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Self-motivated with excellent time management * Comfortable working independently and as part of a team * Passion for supporting local businesses and community journalism * Familiarity with Folsom and surrounding communities is a plus What We Offer * Base pay plus commission * Flexible inside or outside sales structure * Training and ongoing support * Opportunity to work with one of California's longest-running newspapers * A role with real community impact Why Join Us?
