Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store * Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding and interest * Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and resolving concerns promptly * Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges * Handle cash, process credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision * Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction * Maintain attractive merchandising displays by organizing stock, restocking shelves, and ensuring the store looks inviting at all times * Manage inventory through stocking, inventory counts, and reporting discrepancies to ensure product availability * Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries or follow-up calls * Support basic retail math tasks such as calculating discounts, totals, and change accurately * Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and maintain a positive store environment * Assist in training new team members or supervising shifts when needed to ensure smooth operations Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential * Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual capacity is a plus * Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling procedures * Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory management * Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills that create positive shopping experiences * Experience in merchandising, stocking shelves, or product demos is advantageous * Supervising experience is beneficial but not mandatory; leadership qualities are appreciated for growth opportunities * Bilingual abilities can enhance customer interactions and team collaboration * Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings as needed Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while growing your retail career!
