About the Role As an Account Manager , you will lead and develop medical affairs accounts, serving as a trusted client partner and ensuring high-quality delivery across medical communications programs. You will manage day-to-day account activity, oversee budgets and timelines, and collaborate with cross- functional teams to drive client satisfaction, operational excellence, and account growth. Key Responsibilities * Lead client relationships and act as the primary day-to-day contact * Manage medical communications projects from briefing through delivery * Collaborate with Scientific, Editorial, Creative, and Project Management teams * Oversee budgets, forecasting, and financial performance across accounts * Ensure work is delivered on time, on budget, and to agreed scope * Identify opportunities for organic account growth and support new business efforts * Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and operational efficiency About You * 2-5+ years of healthcare or medical communications agency experience * Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and medical affairs * Bachelor's degree required * Confident managing budgets and project finances * Highly organized, collaborative, and proactive with strong communication skills * Strategic thinker with energy, enthusiasm, and attention to detail Benefits At Ashfield, compensation is more than just a base salary.
