A global industrial machine parts distributor in the Arlington Heights, Illinois area is currently seeking an Entry Sales Representative to join the team. The ideal candidate will engage in maintaining good relations with accounts and understand client's needs. Also will implement business development by communicating with potential clients on a daily basis. This is a full-time and direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package. Entry Sales Representative Responsibilities: * Understand customer's needs and provide feedback with managers and engineering team * Visit client's sites and visit trade shows and meetings for understanding market trends and for building up good relationship with business partners * Organize supply chain and logistics processes, including customs processing and documentation * Secure product orders and follow up on tracking and delivery * Create sales reports and price quotations, and negotiate price and costs with customers * Other duties as assigned Entry Sales Representative Requirements: * Associate's degree in Supply Chain, International Business Management, Economics, or relevant field is preferred * Ability to travel for sales visits (mostly local and occasionally to the greater Midwest area, 50% of the time) * Account management experience in a manufacturing environment preferred * Work experience in manufacturing setting. * Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, both verbal and written * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications * While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, lift in excess of 20 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision. Direct applicants only.
