We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Parts Counter Sales Associate in the commercial truck and trailer industry who will assist in- person and phone-in customers with selecting required parts, suggest related parts, and offer specials, to meet their needs. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for assisting customers on parts needs, ensuring stock levels are kept up, assisting with inventory counts, ordering, and stocking parts and maintaining a clean and safe workplace at all times including: * Handle parts payment collection at point of sale and make sure all parts are billed correctly * Complete purchase orders and invoices for customer purchases * Assist customers with loading purchases onto trailers or in vehicles * Check incoming freight, comparing received stock against manifests or invoices * Stock parts and supplies on shelves, maintaining organization and presentation * Rearrange or organize equipment using pallet jacks, forklifts, or front-end loaders * Use computers to look up parts or product codes as well as complete sales reports and invoices * Customer/ vender outreach and contacts via phone Qualifications: Experience in truck and trailer industry required. Physical Demands: Must be able to be on their feet for up to 8 hours at a time; regularly stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Moderate physical activity and the ability to lift and move up to 50lbs. of force occasionally, and/or 25lbs. of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 lbs. constantly unrestricted.
