POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing Liaison builds relationships within the communities that we serve in order to promote the services provided. The Liaison is responsible for pursuing new referral sources and ensures continued census growth across service lines. This position is responsible for representing APEX Health Services in the community, event planning, and marketing communications. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Development and execution of quarterly marketing plans that enable meeting census goals. * Develops and maintains contact with key community and consumer organizations to provide APEX Health Service education. * 75% of work week will be field time to include cold calling and arranging beneficial meetings with external sources. * Effectively communicates with the intake and clinical team regarding new patient referrals and updates the referral source regarding status. * Schedules meet and greets and education to the healthcare community. * Provides VP of Business Development marketing reports as designated. Frequency of reporting is subject to change. * Responsible for providing the intake department with status of pending referrals at the conclusion of each day. * Integrates the mission and vision of the company in all marketing efforts. * Identifies areas of opportunities for the company to assist in evolving services with current healthcare trends. * Serves as a liaison between AHS and all referral sources. * Initiates, completes, and submits consent paperwork within 24 hours of completion. * Responsible for service line philosophy education of patients and families * Participates in external committees and Boards. * Completion of account profiles; shared with interdisciplinary team. * Use of provided tools or portals to monitor competitors and business trends. * Remains within monthly provided marketing budget. * Responsible for meeting monthly admission goals. * Responsible for reporting complaints in accordance with agency policy. * Complies with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements in accordance with federal, state, and organizational policies. * Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES AND KNOWLEDGE: * Work independently, while collaborating with managers and other personnel. * Evaluate a situation quickly and respond appropriately. * Written and verbal communication skills. * Organizational skills * Utilize electronic medical records and other computer programs. * Works with diverse social and economic situations without imposing own values EXPERIENCE * Experience as community liaison or marketer in the health care field, preferably hospice or home health.
