Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Assistant Manager/ Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. You will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance, managing stock levels, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services. * Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, processing transactions and handling cash. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, product offerings, and store policies to effectively communicate with customers. * Stock showroom and organize merchandise to ensure a neat and inviting shopping environment. * Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales. * Utilize basic math skills for retail math calculations, ensuring accurate pricing and inventory management. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction. * Uphold phone etiquette when addressing customer calls or inquiries. * Assist manager with day-to-day operations as needed. Experience * Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members. * Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems; training will be provided for those unfamiliar. * Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and stock management. * A proactive attitude towards learning new products and sales techniques is highly valued.
