Outside Sales Representative - Construction & Industrial Copper State Bolt & Nut Company (CSBN) is seeking a driven, high-energy Outside Sales Individual to aggressively grow new business and expand existing accounts across the construction and industrial markets. This role is ideal for a true hunter who thrives on prospecting, building relationships, and winning business in the field. You will sell to general contractors, subcontractors, building engineers, safety managers, maintenance teams, and purchasing decision-makers , while working closely with vendors and internal teams to deliver complete jobsite and MRO solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Prospect and close new construction and industrial accounts within your territory * Cold-call jobsites, offices, and plants to generate new business * Build strong relationships with contractors, superintendents, safety managers, and purchasing teams * Grow and manage existing accounts while taking share from competitors * Sell fasteners, industrial supplies, safety products, VMI programs, and jobsite solutions * Partner with inside sales and branch teams to close deals quickly and efficiently * Consistently grow territory revenue and meet or exceed sales targets What We 're Looking For * Outside sales experience in construction, fasteners, industrial supply, MRO, manufacturing, or safety products * Proven ability to prospect, overcome objections, and close business * Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working independently in the field * Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills * Jobsite experience and contractor relationships are a strong plus Decision/Information Sharing and Communication: * Ongoing communication and information sharing with inside sales and branch managers in support of customer orders, questions, issues, or other [please apply online] with Accounting to ensure that customer credit guidelines are followed, including establishing new accounts and setting up pre-lien programs.Request authorization from applicable sales managers regarding customer entertainment or sales promotion.
