Job Overview: We at Shelley Construction are looking for a highly motivated and results- driven individual to join our team as an Insurance Roofing Inspector. This position is an incredible career opportunity with potential for promotion and pay increases. Background in sales, especially Door to Door sales is a bonus. As an Insurance Roofing Inspector, you will be responsible for driving around and identifying/assessing weather damaged roofs, providing guidance to homeowners on insurance submittal process, and driving sales in the door-to- door sales process. You will work on a commission pay structure that will pay you upon the final payout from insurance; final payout is typically 1-3 months with early payment flexibility for new hires. Once you have developed a consistent "pipeline" of jobs, pay is very consistent and can be expected twice every month. This is a high referral business; the longer you are in the industry, the less prospecting is required. You will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule after training ends, with weekday afternoon/evenings and all day Saturdays being the prime times for sales. Expect training to last 2 weeks to a month with commission contracts being signed through this process. Roof inspectors will not physically get on any roofs or perform any repairs. Roof inspections will happen from the ground. Responsibilities: Travel with your personal vehicle throughout the valley identifying homes with weather damaged roofs, and work with homeowners to provide solutions for professional repairs and roof replacements. (Inspectors are responsible for their own Vehicles, fuel, and insurance). Assess and inspect roofs to determine the extent of damage and advise homeowners on the potential of an insurance buyout or a cash bid. Meet Yearly Gross Sales minimums (The goal is to hit these in 6 months part time depending on experience). Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, establishing trust and rapport. Educate homeowners on the benefits of repairing or replacing their roofs through insurance claims. Prepare and submit insurance claims on homes that meet damage criteria. Collaborate with the internal team to gather necessary documentation and information for insurance claims. Keep accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and insurance claim processes. Qualifications: Preferred experience, but willing to train the right people: Excellent communication with the ability to build relationships and establish trust. Unshakeable integrity with a mentality for helping others succeed Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong desire to exceed sales targets. Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to assess and inspect roofs for damage. Ability to drive and have a valid driver's license. Flexible availability, including evenings on weekdays and Saturdays for optimal sales opportunities.
