Full description of the position

Overview We are seeking a driven and disciplined Outside Sales Rep to join our team. This role is centered on generating and setting qualified solar consultations through direct outreach, education, and relationship-based conversations with homeowners. We are not a traditional solar sales organization that lures reps with exaggerated income claims, vague support, or unrealistic expectations-- only to underdeliver. We believe in clear standards, real training, and execution that actually supports our reps. Our culture thrives because of who is on the team, not hype or empty promises. This position offers a path to real earnings, leadership development, and camaraderie within a fully in-house, vertically integrated solar organization--allowing for more transparency, stronger support, and ultimately higher pay for our reps. Responsibilities * Generate and set qualified solar appointments through door-to-door outreach, warm follow-ups, and * community engagement * Educate homeowners on solar energy, utility savings, and eligibility in a clear and honest manner * Pre-qualify prospects to ensure high-quality appointments for the closing team * Accurately schedule and confirm consultations using CRM and internal scheduling systems * Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to maximize show rates and conversion * Track activity, performance, and pipeline metrics within CRM tools * Collaborate closely with closers, managers, and support teams * Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset * Participate in coaching, training, and skill development Requirements * Experience in solar sales, appointment setting, door-to-door sales, or customer-facing roles preferred * Strong communication skills and confidence in face-to-face conversations * Comfortable with performance-based compensation * Coachable mindset and willingness to follow proven systems * Self-motivated, disciplined, and accountable * Ability to work independently and within a team environment * Desire for growth and leadership development Why This Team Is Different Many companies promise the world--then leave reps unsupported, misaligned, and frustrated.
