About the Role A growing marketing services company is seeking a driven Business Development Representative to support new client acquisition and revenue growth. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in outbound prospecting, relationship-building, and closing retained service engagements. This is a performance-driven position with meaningful long-term earning potential through uncapped, residual commissions tied to retained business. The role works closely with senior leadership and internal team members to align sales activity with company growth goals. Responsibilities New Business Development * Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, events, and targeted outreach campaigns * Generate and qualify leads through consistent calling, emailing, messaging, and follow-up workflows * Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients and industry partners * Develop creative strategies to acquire new leads, including niche targeting and partnership opportunities * Research competitors, market trends, and prospect needs to support effective positioning Sales Execution & Pipeline Management * Conduct discovery conversations and present customized service solutions * Close new business and support strong client handoff for long-term retention * Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, opportunities, communications, and next steps * Manage and advance a healthy sales pipeline aligned with weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals Collaboration & Optimization * Partner with senior leadership on outreach strategy, targeting, and campaign execution * Continuously improve outreach messaging, workflows, automation, and reporting * Participate in refining sales systems and processes to support scalable growth Qualifications Required * Proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition * Strong outbound prospecting skills (calling, email, multi-touch campaigns) * Ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally * Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously * Self-motivated, accountable, organized, and results-oriented Preferred * Experience selling marketing, advertising, or professional services * Familiarity with sales automation tools and CRM workflows * Demonstrated success closing retained or recurring-revenue clients Compensation & Benefits * $40,000 base salary + uncapped residual commission (long-term upside on retained business) * On-target earnings (OTE): $80,000 -$120,000+ (includes base + commission) * Benefits package included (health insurance and paid time off) * Tools, systems, and support provided to succeed in the role Work Environment This is a full-time, results-focused role centered on outbound sales and pipeline development.
