Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team with the mindset to grow in the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while maintaining the store's operational efficiency. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products to enhance their shopping experience. * Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts. * Maintain an organized stockroom and ensure that merchandise is well-stocked on the sales floor. * Engage with customers to promote products and services through effective problem solving techniques. * Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies. * Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to company standards. * Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the store environment. * Utilize phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries to maintain professionalism. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash register operations is advantageous. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as they can enhance communication with diverse customers. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills related to sales techniques and product knowledge.
