Full description of the position

We are seeking an Exceptional Hotel Sales Manager to join our Team. The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for soliciting and maintaining all accounts through prospecting, booking, selling and planning accounts/territory to positively impact hotel Revenues. This individual will be responsible for meeting month-end reporting and tracking of account production. Must possess knowledge and experience with professional selling skills; opening, booking, selling, planning, coordinating and closing all special events, negotiate contracts. Hitting weekly targeted sales quotas. Always providing the highest degree of customer service. Prepare reports pertaining to operation of Sales and Marketing Department, including and not limited to monthly and annual Forecast, Market Budget, Lead Management System, Booking Reports and Sales Meetings. Write proposals and/or contracts advising prospective groups for meeting space and/or banquet date, space rate availability. Conduct onsite sales and property tours with potential clients, visiting guest rooms, meeting space and banquet facilities as well as other hotel facilities. Assist in planning menu and logistics for each event. Provides hands-on support during the actual event. Travel the El Paso area as well as to Juarez, Chih., MX, meeting with owners/directors, managers of companies to solicit new business. Soliciting new clients, while keeping established clients as well. Meet all event and hospitality needs, as well as building strong customer relations for all their future demands. Constantly, monitor accounts, production and evaluating trends to meet market demand. Operate Sales Department within sales expense budget. Previous hotel experience preferred, salary based on experience. Leadership experience in sales required. Must be available weekends and holidays, when necessary. Proficient in English and Spanish. Demonstrates strong verbal and communication skills. Must be able to understand and clarity concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests. Must work well in stressful, high- pressure situations. Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
