Full description of the position

The Regional Account Representative will be responsible for managing day-to- day customer communication, customer pricing, transportation and production scheduling, and inventory control management. The representative will also support the sales team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Keeping up to date with information related to products, services, schedules, deliveries, shipments, etc
• Communicate with customers via phone, text, email, and in person.
• Foster relationships and build rapport with customers to ensure a successful circulation of information.
• Manage and coordinate trucking and transportation schedules according to customer requirements.
• Assist with inventory management and problem resolution.
• Work with production on scheduling, transportation scheduling, projects, and specialty orders.
• Auditing of all invoices.
• Administrative duties as required
• Quickly develop expertise in our services and function as a technical resource for our customers.
• Local travel to meet customers.
• Research, find, and develop relationships with new customers.
• Scheduling and project management as needed. Preferred

• Experience in the steel industry
• Service center experience
• Process flow experience in Manufacturing industry

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is generally in an office environment, however the employee will also be required to enter an industrial environment with noisy and dirty conditions. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work at a computer and move about an office environment. The employee is also required to move about an industrial environment for task completion.
