Kor-It Inc. is a leading provider of high-quality diamond tools, concrete cutting, and construction equipment. Position Overview Kor-It Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Local Sales Representative to serve the greater Sacramento area. This individual will be responsible for growing our presence in the construction and utility sectors, building relationships with customers, and driving equipment sales through direct client engagement, demos, and hands-on service. Key Responsibilities Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with local customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support. Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with businesses in the Sacramento area, including contractors, construction companies, utilities, rental yards, equipment dealers and other relevant industries. Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Kor-It Inc.'s and Pro Machine Works' product offerings to effectively advise and assist customers with their purchasing decisions. Market Research: Analyze the local market to identify potential customers, competitors, and industry trends to inform sales strategies. Client Visits, Demos and Presentations: Conduct regular in-person visits to existing and prospective clients to present products, answer questions, and provide tailored solutions. Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by driving new business and managing existing accounts. Problem Solving: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering solutions for any issues they may encounter with products or services. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, customer service, and operations to ensure seamless order processing, delivery, and post-sales support. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and forecasts using CRM tools. (Netsuite experience is a plus) Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in construction equipment, tools, manufacturing, or a related industry. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams. Customer-Centric: Proven ability to build and maintain long-lasting client relationships through trust, communication, and a solutions-oriented approach. Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to close sales, handle objections, and negotiate effectively. Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Sacramento area and its local construction market is a plus. Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of construction equipment and tools is preferred, or a willingness to learn with ability to operate and demonstrate equipment capabilities and performance. Valid Driver 's License: Must have a valid CA driver's license - company vehicle will be provided to carry equipment and visit customers at their place of business and worksites.
