Outside Sales Representative - Countertops (Granite, Quartz & Stone) Location: Cape Fear Region, NC (Wilmington, Brunswick, Pender & surrounding areas) Compensation: $500/week guaranteed for first 3 months + 5% commission Annual Sales Target: $2.5 million+ Job Overview We are seeking a driven and professional Outside Sales Representative to grow our countertop business by developing strong relationships with commercial builders, contractors, and remodelers throughout the Cape Fear region. This role focuses on selling granite, quartz, and other stone countertop products for new construction and renovation projects. The salesperson will be responsible not only for closing the sale, but also for collecting all job-related information required for manufacturing and coordinating each project through installation. This position includes a $500/week guaranteed base for the first 90 days , followed by 5% commission on all sales. Responsibilities * Prospect and build relationships with home builders, general contractors, and remodeling companies * Visit job sites, model homes, and offices to promote our countertop products and services * Present granite, quartz, and stone options to decision-makers and clients * Measure jobs or coordinate measurements when required * Collect all information necessary for fabrication , including: * Layouts and drawings * Material selection * Edge profiles * Sink and faucet specifications * Cutouts and special requirements * Site readiness details * Prepare estimates, proposals, and sales agreements * Submit complete job packages to the office and production team * Coordinate with scheduling staff, fabrication shop, and installation crews to ensure smooth project execution * Follow projects from sale through installation to ensure customer satisfaction * Manage accounts and grow repeat business * Meet or exceed an annual sales target of $2.5 million * Track leads, quotes, and sales activity in CRM or tracking system * Represent the company professionally at all times Requirements * 2+ years of outside sales experience (countertops, construction materials, cabinetry, flooring, or similar preferred) * Strong understanding of construction or remodeling workflows * Ability to read basic drawings and job specifications * Knowledge of granite, quartz, and stone products preferred (or strong willingness to learn) * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Strong self-motivation and time management * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation * Comfortable working independently in the field * Basic computer skills (email, CRM, estimating software) Preferred Qualifications * Existing relationships with local builders or contractors * Prior countertop or fabrication industry experience * Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * History of meeting high-value sales targets Compensation & Benefits * $500/week guaranteed for first 3 months * 5% commission on all sales after ramp-up * High earning potential based on performance * Long-term career opportunity with a growing countertop company * Full support from office staff, fabrication shop, and installation teams Job Type: Full-time Pay: $51,688.04 - $62,247.96 per year Work Location: In person
