Industry: Industrial Manufacturing / Contract Manufacturing / Automation Solutions Location: Hybrid / Remote(Preferred: ability to come into office approximately once per week) Preferred residence: Illinois Also acceptable: Indiana, Michigan Required Qualifications * Experience in technical sales, project management, or manufacturing-related roles * Strong technical background with ability to read and understand engineering drawings * Ability to deliver professional customer presentations and proposals * Familiarity with a wide range of manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, post-processing) * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Comfortable coordinating with suppliers and customers domestically and internationally * Ability to work flexible hours within a general 8:00am-5:00pm schedule * Minimal travel required; primarily local and day trips only Preferred Qualifications * Japanese language proficiency strongly preferred (Chinese language skills a plus) * Experience working with Japanese-affiliated manufacturers or suppliers * CAD or 3D modeling familiarity Responsibilities * Generate new business leads and develop customer relationships * Work with customers to clarify technical challenges, project scope, and requirements * Identify, evaluate, and select suitable suppliers for turnkey projects and contract manufacturing * Develop RFQs, manage proposal creation, and present final solutions to customers * Represent the customer's perspective during supplier design and development phases * Oversee order execution, delivery coordination, and installation support as needed * Support ad-hoc sourcing requests and manage quotation through delivery processes * Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure customer satisfaction This job description is intended to describe the general nature of the role and may not include all responsibilities or qualifications require
