Overview PURPLE Mattress is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Leader to join our team. This role is vital in DRIVING SALES, enhancing a organic customer experience, and leading store operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, retail sales expertise, and supervisory experience. Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse customers. As a Sales Leader, you will play a key role in merchandising, product demonstrations, and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast- paced retail environment. Duties * Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve daily and monthly sales goals * Conduct product demos to educate customers on mattress features and benefits * Manage POS systems for transactions, cash handling, and cashiering duties * Oversee merchandising efforts including stocking shelves and arranging displays * Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and offering tailored solutions * Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction * Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures * Maintain professional phone etiquette when communicating with customers and vendors * Support training new staff members on sales techniques and store policies Requirements * Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within a grocery or mattress store setting * Supervising experience with the ability to lead a team effectively * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are advantageous * Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and cashier responsibilities * Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts * Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor * Basic math skills necessary for daily operations and stock management * Knowledge of grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required * Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
