Roofing sales is a very lucrative career path when done the right way. Unfortunately, many roofing contractors in our area will hire anyone with a pulse and then fail to train them, which inevitably leads to failure and can even put new reps into a bad financial situation. This is why we have created an entry level position for those who are hungry and wish to pursue a career in roofing sales. This position safely allow you the crutch of a steady livable income, while receiving expert training and mentorship to mold you into the sales expert you will need to be. After you have gained the experience necessary to thrive in sales, we will safely guide you into the more lucrative position of a roofing consultant. The only things you will need in order to get started is a reliable vehicle, a smart phone, an uncommon level of personal drive, and to be a culture match with our team. If you can stay motivated without being micromanaged, you'll love this role. The Role (Why it exists) This is an entry-level position into the roofing industry. We're not expecting you to know roofing -- we're expecting you to have the attitude, work ethic, and people skills to learn. Your job is to introduce homeowners to DRS and set inspection appointments for our consultants. If you do well, this role is designed to become a stepping stone into a Roofing Consultant position where the income potential gets serious (Six figures/Multiple six figures for the right person). Pay (Straightforward and performance-based) This is a W2 position. * Base Pay: $600/week * Commission: After your first 3 inspections (required), you earn $25 per completed inspection * A strong rep should be able to set 3 -5 inspections per day, which means your weekly earnings can climb quickly once you're rolling. You'll never wonder how you're getting paid -- it's simple: show up, do the job, set quality inspections, get rewarded. What you 'll be doing day-to-day The bread and butter of starting out as a roofing consultant is knowing how to generate leads and close deals. The fastest and most effective way of doing this is simply by knocking on doors and talking to people. Most people are scared of this aspect of the job, and that's understandable. If that's you, this job may not be right for you. However, if you can muster up the ability to do and say what we teach you, you can do very well and quickly build a personal brand to prepare for becoming a consultant. While you are working as a "setter", you will be going into assigned areas around Fort Worth, having short conversations with homeowners, and setting up inspection appointments. * Door-to-door outreach: Knock doors, introduce DRS, and create trust in a professional and friendly way. * Appointment setting: Your #1 goal is setting quality inspections for our consultants -- not just volume. * Territory & activity tracking: Follow a route and track progress on your phone. We're not into micromanaging, but we do care about effort and consistency. * Representing the brand: Show up clean, presentable, and respectful. DRS is known for doing things with integrity -- that starts at the doorstep. * Team communication: We operate as a team. You'll submit leads and updates, and we celebrate wins together in our Discord group chat and at our frequent outtings.
