Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of retail sales, and the ability to effectively promote products. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating product features, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Bilingual abilities and previous experience in grocery stores or retail environments are a plus. The Sales Associate will play a key role in maintaining an attractive store layout, stocking shelves, and supporting overall store operations. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs * Operate POS systems for cashiering and cash handling transactions accurately * Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits * Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities * Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked * Stock shelves and manage inventory levels efficiently * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly * Assist with phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries * Support supervising staff in overseeing daily store operations when needed * Perform basic retail math for transactions, stock counts, and sales tracking Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales, grocery stores, or similar environments preferred * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively * Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases * Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures * Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and upselling techniques * Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills * Basic math skills for retail transactions and inventory management * Supervising experience is a plus but not required * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed This position offers an engaging work environment where your interpersonal skills and sales expertise can thrive.
