Overview

The Front Desk / Sales Associate is the first point of contact for new prospects and existing members. You'll be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering excellent customer service, driving membership sales, and supporting daily gym operations. This role is ideal for someone who's energetic, organized, and passionate about fitness. Job

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly and professionally
• Answer phone calls, texts, and emails related to membership inquiries, scheduling, and general questions
• Conduct in-person and phone-based sales consultations with prospective members
• Follow up with leads via text, email, and phone to drive trial bookings and conversions
• Book and manage class schedules, appointments, and consultations using gym software
• Check in members for classes and PT sessions
• Perform walk-throughs of the gym throughout the day to help ensure cleanliness and organization
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area
• Assist with retail and merchandise sales
• Support gym events, community outreach, and promotional campaigns
• Provide ongoing support to members with questions, feedback, or concerns Job

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a front desk, retail, or customer service role (fitness industry a plus)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Tech-savvy; able to learn and use gym management software and CRM tools
• Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask
• Enthusiastic about health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals
• Preferred: Received or in process of obtaining a Bachelors degree in a fitness or customer service related field
