Full description of the position

You will take projects from concept through proposal and into construction, working closely with owners, facility managers, and internal teams to deliver complete, cost-effective, and constructible design-build HVAC systems. Key Responsibilities - Lead design-build and design-assist opportunities for commercial and industrial HVAC projects. Perform system evaluations, load calculations, and conceptual design for: - Air duct systems - Boiler systems - Refrigerant-based air conditioning systems - Steam heating systems - Hot water heating systems - Chilled water systems - Exhaust and make-up air systems - Associated system controls A) Develop accurate estimates and budgets for design-build projects. B) Prepare clear, detailed proposals and scope documents. C) Present proposals and solutions directly to end users and decision-makers. D) Negotiate project scope, pricing, and terms with owners and construction partners. E) Oversee projects from award through completion, including project management and coordination with field teams. F) Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat clients and targeted new accounts. Qualifications. - 5 years minimum proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Estimator, or Project Manager in commercial/industrial HVAC design-build work. - Strong working knowledge of HVAC system design, sequences of operation, and constructability. - Ability to read and interpret plans/specs and also lead concept-to- completion design-build efforts without full drawings. - Comfortable selling direct to owners and negotiating projects. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for proposal writing and presentations. - Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines. - Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) - 401(k) - Health insurance - Dental insurance - Life insurance - Short-term and long-term disability - Paid time off - Mileage/travel and expense account (as applicable) - Commission pay in addition to base salary Job Details - Job Type: Full-time - Schedule: Monday to Friday Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,937.47 - $97,473.09 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Health insurance * Paid time off Work Location: On the road
