Catering Sales Representative | On-Site: Burr Ridge, IL. | $18-$22/hour + commission The Catering Sales Rep will be primarily responsible for all fundraising, including our school lunch program, and supporting the Buona Catering Call Center. This position is based in our Catering Call Center inside the Buona Companies Corporate building, which is located at 7075 Veterans Blvd. Burr Ridge, IL. This is not a seasonal position; we are hiring for part-time, with potential to transition to full-time. Our ideal candidate will have open availability, with flexibility to potentially work until 8pm on weekdays, and until 6pm on Saturdays and 2pm on Sundays. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: FUNDRAISING Benefit Nights & Donation Requests * Receive all fundraising requests & schedule all benefit nights * Review requests with appropriate division head and follow through on requests * Follow up with customers after the completion of their event or donation * Ensure all financial information is communicated in a timely manner School Lunch Sales * Maintain relationships with existing schools and prospect new ones * Provide a quarterly survey for school lunch customers ("How are we doing?") and end-of-year survey * Provide annual thank you letter with Buona gift cards to main school lunch contact Community Involvement (Existing Stores + New Store Openings) * Visit local areas as directed by the Director of Operations (Hospitals, Business Parks, Hotels, Schools, etc.) * Provide promotional materials to prospects (menus, fundraising information, coupons, etc.) * Donate to local efforts that share a mutual relationship with Buona Restaurants CATERING SALES * Field incoming calls and process sales * Grow sales by networking and prospecting (cold calling), and ensuring inquiries and leads are responded to in an enthusiastic and timely manner * Ensure accurate and comprehensive client files are maintained * Manage individual sales goal development and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets * Have full knowledge and understanding of the menu in order to better meet the needs of each customer * Coordinate Food Truck bookings QUALIFICATIONS : * Must have reliable transportation * Can work weekends until 6pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday * Must be able to commute to stores, businesses and schools as directed * Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills * Be computer savvy * Have exceptional interpersonal skills * Possess great time-management and organizational skills BUONA PERKS: Commission on catering sales (1 -2.5%) 1 hour of PTO accrued per every 40 hours worked (PLAW) 75% meal allowance on workdays (50% off on non-workdays) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Paid training * Tuition reimbursement * Vision insurance Application Question(s): * Is there anything else we should know?
