Location: Fort Bliss, Texas (On-site Only) Job Type: Full-Time | Base Pay | Flexible Growth Opportunity About Texas Boombox Texas Boombox is El Paso's premium car audio and vehicle upgrade shop -- specializing in clean installs, high-performance sound systems, and customer- first service. We are now hiring a Sales-Focused Store Manager to oversee our Fort Bliss location. This person will lead day-to-day operations while also driving sales in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Sales & Front-of-House * Greet and assist walk-in customers with confidence, clarity, and enthusiasm * Recommend car audio and vehicle accessories based on customer goals -- including stereos, speakers, tweeters, subwoofers, amps, alarms, and window tint * Explain product benefits in simple terms and sell the impact , not just the specs * Build strong rapport and ensure exceptional customer service throughout every visit * Use QuickBooks POS (current) and transition into Lightspeed POS (future) for all transactions, orders, and invoicing Store Operations & Management * Open the store 10 minutes before posted hours and remain until 10 minutes after closing -- per Fort Bliss regulations * Manage workflow by assigning jobs to the appropriate installers, tinters, or techs * Monitor floor activity and keep staff on-task, productive, and accountable * Oversee inventory levels , monitor reorder points, and submit restock requests * Enforce company policies , follow safety regulations , and ensure full compliance with Fort Bliss procedures and security protocols Growth & Marketing Support * Maintain a clean, professional showroom that reflects the Texas Boombox brand * Support basic local marketing initiatives (flyers, referrals, social promotions, etc.) * Offer ideas to help attract new customers and retain existing clients * Participate in performance reviews, goal tracking, and long-term shop growth Requirements * Prior experience in sales, shop management, or customer-facing retail * Knowledge of car audio systems and accessories (or willing to learn fast) * Strong communication skills -- must be outgoing, confident, and extroverted by nature * Comfortable using point-of-sale software and managing basic inventory operations * Strong sense of personal responsibility, leadership, and team oversight * Punctual, disciplined, and process-driven -- especially in a regulated environment * Must be eligible to work on base at Fort Bliss (pass background/security clearance) Preferred (but not required) * Bilingual (English/Spanish) * Past experience in car audio shops, dealerships, or installation-based businesses * Familiarity with QuickBooks POS or Lightspeed POS systems * Comfortable helping with basic marketing or local outreach campaigns What We Offer * Competitive hourly base pay * Product discounts * Long-term growth opportunity * Chance to become a core part of the Texas Boombox team * Optional: Future sales-based commission structure based on performance How to Apply Please submit your resume and a short message about your experience with vehicle accessories, sales, or store operations.
