The Medical Society of Virginia Insurance Agency (MSVIA) is a critical part of the organization, providing exceptional insurance services to Virginia physicians and generating a source of non-dues revenue that helps support other organizational activities. MSVIA is looking for a Property and Casualty Commercial Insurance (outside) Sales professional effective immediately. Responsibilities: * Achieve sales goals through generating new business and cross-selling existing customers. * Conduct insurance policy reviews and analysis to identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions. * Develop and maintain a client base through networking and customer referrals. * Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns. * Market insurance products to potential and existing clients through various channels, including telemarketing and face-to-face meetings. * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their insurance needs and explain policy options. * Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate terms and conditions of policies. * Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and policies. * Work with account managers on annual policy renewal analysis and client presentations. * Travel and maintain presence in assigned territory. Required qualifications: * Bachelor's degree * Five-plus (5+) years of demonstrated business sales experience. * At least 2 years P&C insurance experience * Commercial Insurance experience * Virginia Property and Casualty Agent's license is required.
