Full description of the position
The National Sales Manager, Pickles contributes to national sales strategy, goal setting, and team selling to drive revenue and market share growth. Key responsibilities include developing sales targets and assisting the sales teams, cultivating customer relationships in the East Coast, analyzing market trends, and reporting on performance. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, along with strategic market understanding, are crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities * Strategic Sales Planning : Contributes to national sales team and marketing plans to achieve sales goals and revenue and margin growth. * Team Player : Be an active participant and contributor to national sales team to meet and exceed sales targets. * Sales Generation and Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts, institutional sales, private label programs etc ensuring satisfaction and driving retention. Secure new profitable pickle sales and revenue growth. * Market Analysis : Analyze market trends, product needs, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to identify new sales opportunities and drive Chipico growth. * Performance Monitoring : Monitor and report on new sales growth, provide insights, and make recommendations for improvement. * Sales Contributions : Contribute to sales resources and continuously evaluate sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. * Collaborative Efforts : Share insights and ideation with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful product innovation and timely commercialization. Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: . A proven track record of success in sales and revenue growth, often requiring several years of experience in sales and customer relationship management. Strategic Thinking: . The ability to think strategically, understand the competitive landscape, and develop effective sales approaches. Communication & Negotiation: . Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential for influencing stakeholders and closing deals. Leadership Participation: .Participate as a team player with sales and other deoartments. Market Knowledge: . A deep understanding of the pickle industry, market trends, and competitor landscape.
