JOB SUMMARY This position contacts a territory of dealerships to facilitate product training and improve sales consultant performance. The trainer works with a comprehensive knowledge of GM brands, vision, and training priorities to conduct in-dealership training and coaching. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Conduct training sessions in accordance with performance standards * Responsible for product training and performance support within assigned GM dealerships * Develop and manage schedule to support dealer needs while working with regional personnel on direction and priorities * Conduct special training assignments and facilitate large group meetings as required * Conduct launch training events as required * Conduct on-going product study and competitive reviews * Submit schedules, rosters, activity reports and expense reports according to performance standards JOB QUALIFICATIONS * 3-5 years automotive related or automotive retail experience or commensurate experience * In-depth knowledge of vehicle technology, light duty truck fundamentals, trailering and infotainment systems * Strong communication skills * Strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills * Organizational skills * Computer skills/literacy and proficiency with PowerPoint * Ability to work independently and as part of a team LOGISTICS AND WORKING CONDITIONS * 80% travel * Provide training within dealerships and meeting locations * Home office based * Reside within assigned territory LI-SV1
