What We 're Looking For We're looking for someone who wants to excel in a sales role. No previous experience in flooring is really needed. We can teach you flooring, but we need you to love people, be excited about generating sales and being part of a successful team. The Flooring Sales & Design Team Member is responsible for driving showroom sales, guiding customers through product selection, and creating an exceptional in-store experience. This role combines relationship-based selling with design support -- helping customers find the right product, at the right budget, for their home or project. Ours include Peak Principles * Be a Positive influence * Respect and take the high road * Choose Integrity & Humility * Have a bias for action through resourcefulness, and determination * Create & embrace change * Honor Commitments & Business Fundamentals * Prevent POKES Through Proactivity & Process * Listen and Communicate with empathy even when you don't want to * Have fun and enjoy the journey * Understand an ongoing focus on service and quality is what sets us apart Key Responsibilities * Guide customers through flooring selection with expert product knowledge, design support, and solution-based selling * Build trust-based relationships with homeowners, designers, and contractors to generate repeat and referral business * Drive sales performance by following up on leads, presenting estimates confidently, and closing opportunities * Maintain accurate quotes and documentation in our CRM to ensure clear communication and smooth project flow * Support showroom presentation standards and keep product displays organized, current, and customer-ready * Represent Peak Flooring's brand, craftsmanship, and Peak Principles in every customer interaction Qualifications * Previous sales, showroom, or customer-facing experience (flooring or construction/design industry preferred, not required) * Passion for helping customers through the design + selection process, with strong communication and listening skills * Proven ability to hit goals, manage a pipeline, follow up consistently, and close sales opportunities * Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within a structured sales process * Positive attitude, self-driven, team player mindset -- committed to growth and continuous improvement Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $55,000.00 per year Benefits: * Employee discount * Mileage reimbursement * Paid time off * Paid training * Professional development assistance Work Location: In person
