About the Role Syserco is seeking a highly motivated, building automation salesperson to drive construction business within their assigned account list, market, or territory. This person will be responsible for direct sales of new construction projects and will be required to work collaboratively with the sales team to grow the new customer base. Responsibilities * Develop relationships with contracting tiers; General Contractors and Mechanical Contractors along with End Users to win new work * Influence project specifications through working and supporting consulting engineers * Estimate and bid projects in collaboration with project execution teams * Ensure overall customer satisfaction with Syserco portfolio of products and services * Identify and maintain an active list of targeted new opportunities, customers and create acquisition strategy * Create and execute strategic account plans for targeted contractors or end users. Typical plans will include SWOT analysis, differentiators, competitive analysis, organizational charts, buying influencers, KPI's, implicit/explicit needs, market influencers, and action items * Develop and maintain Syserco's "blue sheet" template for key opportunities. Identifying key account stakeholders (Economic, User, Technical Buyers, and Coaches). Understand key players' unique motivation and build a unified strategy to gain consensus * Work with building owners to gain "preferred" and a "trusted advisor" status * Accurately qualify and forecast opportunities in company tools, like Salesforce Adhere to Syserco's policies and procedures, HR, safety plan and others * Qualifications * Minimum 2 years of proven, successful sales experience in building technologies or similar industries * B.S. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience/knowledge Understand SPIN and Strategic Selling sales models (or equivalent) * Required Skills * Strong negotiating and technical estimating skills * Experience with Design/Build project delivery * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and unsupervised * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Analytical and financial management skills Salary plus uncapped commission potential.
