Role Overview: Account Managers serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, acting as the vital link between the retailer and our manufacturing team. In this role, you will manage incoming jobs, ensure all projects are organized, and play a key role in maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with our retail partners. Your effectiveness in this position will be crucial to keeping accounts engaged and continuing to work with us. Job Responsibilities: * Process incoming jobs and orders * Billing and shipping * Client facing role * Manage all details and deadlines of custom jewelry projects * Customer service through phone, email, and face to face contact * Responsible for the Account relationship and revenue * Valuables intake: document, weigh, examine valuables * Pickup/Drop off of merchandise and orders to local customers and vendors in the jewelry district * Special projects and duties as assigned Requirements: * Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Strong technical thinking and problem-solving abilities * Highly organized with attention to detail * A constant learner, able to quickly grasp technical information and new skills * Ability to work accurately under pressure * Must embrace and embody the company's core values: * Constant Learning * Solutions Driven * Accountable * Team Player * Must be a "GWC" fit, meaning they: * Get it --understand the role and its responsibilities * Want it --have the drive and desire to succeed in the role * Capacity to do it --possess the skills and experience needed to perform effectively Education and Experience Requirements: * 3+ years of customer service experience * Jewelry experience preferred but not required Location & Hours: * Chicago [In office] * Full-time: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Application Question(s): * What are your salary expectations for this role?
