FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE The Valley Wholesale Co., LLC Full-Time Field-Based (Colorado/Regional) About The Valley Wholesale Co. The Valley Wholesale Co. is a rapidly growing distributor and manufacturer of premium Vapor, Nicotine, Kratom and Alternative products alike. We support independent retailers, C-stores, Vapor shops, Liquor Store, Gas Stations and Regional distributors with exceptional service, reliable logistics, and best- in-class product lines. We operate with speed, accuracy, and an obsessive focus on customer relationships. Our field sales team is the face of our company -- driving revenue, expanding store coverage, and ensuring every retail partner has what they need to succeed. POSITION SUMMARY The Field Sales Representative will build, maintain, and grow accounts within a designated territory. This role is responsible for visiting stores, generating new business, increasing product distribution, supporting in-store merchandising, and developing strong long-term relationships with owners and managers. This is a high-activity, relationship-driven sales role with direct influence on company revenue. Ideal candidates are disciplined, personable, competitive, and highly organized, with the ability to manage routes and consistently close new accounts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Territory & Account Management * Develop and maintain a weekly route covering existing accounts and potential new stores. * Visit as many stores per day as possible depending on region and density. * Maintain a strong presence in assigned c-stores, vape shops, smoke shops, and independent retailers. * Provide ongoing support, education, and product knowledge to store teams. 2. Sales & Revenue Growth * Open new retail accounts and expand distribution across all product categories * Upsell and cross-sell based on store needs, trends, and prior purchasing patterns. * Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. * Submit orders via Zoho or designated sales tools accurately and on time. 3. Merchandising & Brand Representation * Ensure proper product placement, signage, and promotional materials in stores. * Check inventory levels, and make recommendations to increase turns. * Gather competitive intelligence (pricing, SKUs, new brands, shifts in market demand). 4. Customer Service & Relationship Building * Develop strong relationships with store owners, managers, and staff. * Resolve issues quickly and effectively (product questions, order problems, replacements, etc.). * Serve as the primary point of contact between retail accounts and the operations team. 5. Reporting & Administrative Tasks * Track daily store visits, orders and weekly sales summaries. * Maintain up-to-date customer notes, contact information, and order history. * Provide feedback to leadership on opportunities, competitive changes, and market conditions. QUALIFICATIONSRequired * 1-2+ years of sales experience (field sales preferred). * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. * Comfortable with a high-volume, fast-paced work environment. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (product samples, displays, etc.). * Must be organized, punctual, and self-motivated. Preferred * Experience in vape, CBD/hemp, convenience-store, or smoke shop industries. * Knowledge of CRM tools (Zoho preferred). * Existing relationships with local retailers is a major bonus. COMPENSATION * Base salary + commission (competitive and uncapped). * Monthly fuel reimbursement or stipend. BENEFITS * Paid time off * Opportunities for advancement into territory management or distributor relationships * Strong team culture and leadership support WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE Within 90 days, the ideal Field Sales Representative will: * Have a complete weekly route built and followed consistently. * Be opening 5-15 new stores monthly depending on territory density. * Increase order frequency and average order size from existing accounts. * Improve in-store presence and brand visibility through merchandising. Within 6-12 months: * Territory revenue has grown substantially. * Strong repeat-order customers are established. * The rep is viewed as a trusted partner by retailers in the area.
