Mountain West Cidery and Winery are looking for a Tasting Room Associate who brings warmth, curiosity, and a passion for craft artisan beverages to every guest interaction. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment, enjoys learning, and wants to build a strong foundation in tasting room service and full-bar bartending. Responsibilities * Create a welcoming, memorable experience for every guest who walks through our doors * Educate customers on our ciders, wines, and craft beverages--sharing tasting notes, production stories, and pairing suggestions * Serve cider, wine, beer, and full-bar cocktails following proper service standards * Learn and apply the fundamentals of bartending, including drink preparation, glassware, and responsible alcohol service * Operate POS systems accurately and handle transactions with care * Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting tasting room and bar area * Support events, tastings, and seasonal promotions * Work collaboratively with a passionate team dedicated to quality and hospitality Ideal Candidate * A genuine enthusiasm for craft, artisan products--cider, wine, spirits, and beyond * Strong customer service skills and a friendly, engaging demeanor * A willingness and ability to learn beverage knowledge, bartending fundamentals, and tasting room operations * Excellent communication skills * Dependability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment * Previous tasting room, bar, or hospitality experience is a plus--but not required If you're excited to learn, love engaging with guests, and want to be part of a team that celebrates craft and community, we'd love to meet you.
